Soft drink company Coca Cola launches plastic recycling project

BG Explores Options for Idku Feedstock

 BG and BP are in talks that could lead to the kick-start of production at the feedstock starved Idku LNG plant operated by BG. The talks between the two British firms revolve around linking their respective gas developments offshore Egypt’s Mediterranean coast. New Blocks for Mozambique Hopefuls

    Mozambique will be offering up 15 new offshore and onshore areas for oil exploration within the next week or so. The blocks are located in the north, south, and central parts of the East African country and include new areas of the northern Rovuma Basin. Nigeria s new gas power plant in Ajaokuta is underway

Federal government has reached a memorandum of understanding with 3D Hitech System Ltd for construction of a gas power plant in Ajaokuta. Baker Hughes provides September 2014 global rig count

    Baker Hughes Incorporated has announced that the international rig count for September 2014 was 1,323, down 16 from the 1,339 counted in August 2014, and up 39 from the 1,284 counted in September 2013. Addax extends FPSO charter

Diminishing gas continues to stifle PetroSA s GTL output

 South Africa’s national oil company PetroSA produced 14% less refined product in 2013/14 than budgeted, owing to diminishing gas feedstock. The State-owned group also warned that that inadequate feedstock would remain a constraint on its future performance.
